1. Where is The Sound Channel located? Where can I preview the instruments?

Prior appointment is required for previewing Open Labs equipment.
2. How do I place an order?
You can walk in to our studio and hand collect your desired equipment, or order via phone or by sending us an email. If ordering by email please include your full name, contact address and telephone number.
3. Do you provide delivery to and outside of Singapore?
Yes, we provide free delivery to doorstep, anywhere in Singapore. For delivery within S.E Asian Countries we charge a flat fee of S$50 for items not exceeding S$1250. For items exceeding S$1250 please drop us an email and we will send you a shipping quote (whilst this may not be most convenient, it ensures safe and insured delivery to your doorstep). We also ship worldwide.
4. What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, checks drawn on Singapore banks, credit cards (for walk-in orders) and pay- pal (for internet orders). We also accept wire transfers for international orders.
5. What about warranty, replacements, service?
All our products are covered by full manufacturer’s warranty and will be replaced free of cost within the warranty period for defects covered under warranty.
6. Do you have a store-front displaying your products?
No we don’t have a store-front in the typical sense. We have a studio displaying all the products where you can walk-in and try out/demo the equipment at your convenience. Unlike other retailers who factor a percentage of their rentals into product pricing thereby artificially inflating the selling price, we want to ensure that our products reach end-users at the lowest possible price. Our aim is to support musicians and artists by providing high technology tools at affordable prices. We wouldn’t be ale to offer our products at a price lower than US MAP Import if we were to lease commercial premises in Singapore.
7. Do you have a special pricing policy for Students? What about bulk orders?
Yes. In order to support the growth of music and art in Singapore, we have partnered with select educational institutions to offer specially priced products to students. Please call us or drop a note to check the special student pricing available.
We offer discounts (yes, on our low price!) on orders of 2 or more units. You can mix-n- match and combine orders with your friends.
8. Some of the products you sell are complex or not as simple as a guitar or a synth. What assistance or help do you provide in setting up or installing?
The products we sell are niche, in a league of its own and developed using cutting edge technology. For those of you new to MIDI and computer based technology, we provide free set up, training or ‘get to know your equipment’ sessions, called as MIDI Clinic. Our MIDI Clinic can be group sessions or one-to-one hands on training sessions, details of which can be found in the News and Support pages.
9. What if I am interested in a product or brand not listed on your Webshop?
Whilst we don’t carry or sell run-of-the-mill equipment, we understand that each user may have diverse needs. We have relations with some select manufacturers and are able to offer extremely competitive prices on their products. Please call us or drop us an email with your inquiry and we will respond with a quote if we are able to cater to your requirement.
10. Do you offer any pricing guarantee?

Our pricing is the lowest you will find anywhere on the web in terms of the landed cost of importing the products we carry into Singapore. For products or brands that are not listed in our Webshop, we can guarantee you the lowest price in Singapore- call us or drop us a note with your requirement.
11. How soon can I expect a quote or response? How about delivery?
In most cases we will respond within a few hours of receiving your inquiry on product availability, pricing and support. If you have specified for free delivery, we will deliver within 3 working days- in most cases, within the next day. We also deliver during weekends. Overseas orders will be delivered within 3 days of receipt of payment.
